In 2021, we carried out a comprehensive conversion of a Liebherr BOS crane on an offshore platform off the coast of Holland.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The aim of the project was to bring the crane up to the latest technical and safety standards in order to meet the demanding requirements of the offshore industry.<\/p>

Measures implemented:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Renewal of the control system:<\/strong> Installation of a state-of-the-art control system for maximum performance, reliability and ease of use.<\/li>
  • Upgrade of the driver's cab:<\/strong> Equipped with a new, ergonomic control panel that significantly improves the operability of the crane.<\/li>
  • Replacement of the hydraulic components:<\/strong> Integration of modern and highly efficient components for reliable hydraulic performance.<\/li>
  • Laying new cables:<\/strong> Installation of new power and signal lines for stable and secure transmission.<\/li>
  • Installation of a rotary encoder:<\/strong> Development and installation of a specially adapted encoder that enables precise control and monitoring.<\/li>
  • New control cabinets:<\/strong> Production and installation of explosion-proof switch cabinets that meet the special requirements in hazardous areas.<\/li><\/ul>

    Special features:<\/strong>
    As the crane is located in a potentially explosive zone, all components were supplied and installed in an explosion-proof design.<\/p>

    Result:<\/strong>
    With this comprehensive conversion, we were able to significantly increase the safety, efficiency and durability of the crane. The Liebherr BOS crane is now optimally equipped for the demanding conditions and safety standards of the offshore industry.<\/p>
