Replacing the slewing rings & checking the hydraulics on the Canelo Arrow

The aim of the project was to replace the slewing rings and check the hydraulic systems for leaks in order to ensure the long-term reliability and efficiency of the cranes.

Measures implemented:

• Replacing the turntables: The slewing rings of three Liebherr CBM 36 cranes were successfully replaced to restore the structural integrity and functionality of the cranes.
• Hydraulic check: The pumps and motors of the cranes were carefully checked for oil leaks in order to detect possible defects at an early stage and extend the service life of the components.

Result:
By replacing the slewing rings and thoroughly checking the hydraulic systems, we were able to sustainably improve the performance and safety of the cranes. The project was completed within the planned time frame, and the Canelo Arrow is now ready again for demanding use in the shipping industry.
